This one-day course is designed to educate the participant on how to recognize a seriously ill or injured child using the general and primary assessments, understand and apply the "assess-categorize-decide-act" approach to a seriously ill or injured child. During the course the participant will have opportunity to demonstrate effective Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and stabilization of a seriously ill or injured child with an effective team interaction. This course is a very useful asset to any EMT-Basic, Intermediate or Paramedic, nurse or physician that works with the pediatric population.

American Heart Association BLS for HCP Provider or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR certification.
